Oh! Look at the Time! A clock widget

Written by Groucho on October 7, 2006 under Uncategorized

clockDoes that sound familiar? For those who love reading blogs and blog-hopping every once in a while, you know that you get to enjoy it too much that you forget about the time. Sometimes you simply decide to toss productivity out of the window but still—you have to make sure that you get your tasks done.

If you are such a person (like the one described above) and you know that your blog readers might be enjoying themselves too much, why don’t you give them a clock widget? After all it is big enough for them to see it on your page. And the eye of the reader is already on the page so he/she doesn’t really have to look at the computer’s taskbar for the time.

What you can customize on this widget:

  • location – Select your time zone! Whether you are traveling around the world or mainly staying in one time zone for practically all your life, you could change the settings for that on your clock ;)

  • size – the smallest is 50×50, the largest is 300×300

  • color – Hexadecimal colors here.

As always, when it comes to widgets, you need to make sure first that you have the widgets plugin active on your blog. If not, download that first so you could make use of this cool and simple to use clock widget.

Download the clock widget here.
